Human Resources Trainee

Location: Wautoma, WI

Duration: 10-12 weeks (with potential for extension)

Pay: $20-25/hr


About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Trainee to join our HR team. This position is designed for recent graduates or students pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. You'll gain hands-on experience in various HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and compliance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the recruitment process including posting jobs, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews
  • Support onboarding and offboarding activities
  • Help maintain employee records and HR databases
  • Participate in employee engagement initiatives and internal communications
  • Assist with HR compliance and policy documentation
  • Contribute to HR projects such as process improvements and data analysis
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to a collaborative team environment
